General

What areas of Adelaide do you service?

We serve metropolitan Adelaide from our Felixstow base at 11/4 Briar Road, Felixstow SA 5070. Consultation travel within standard metro bounds is included; outer or hills locations are confirmed when booking.

Do you offer free consultations?

Initial consultation for genuine residential renovation enquiries within metro Adelaide is complimentary. Repeat visits due to unresolved scope may incur a fee discussed in advance.

What services do you provide?

Kitchen renovation, bathroom renovation, full home renovation, and interior renovation. We do not build new homes or commercial fit-outs. See services for detail.

Quotes and pricing

How long does a quote take?

Typically within ten business days after consultation for standard single-room scopes. Complex whole-home or engineering-dependent projects may require longer; we advise expected date at visit.

How are variations handled?

Variations are confirmed in writing. Verbal approvals without paperwork are avoided so spend stays under your control.

Do quotes include GST?

Quotes state whether amounts are inclusive or exclusive of GST in accordance with Australian quoting practice. Ask if unclear before approval.

On site

Can we live in the home during renovation?

Often yes for partial scopes with staged zones. Kitchen and whole-home programs may be difficult while occupied. We discuss practical arrangements during consultation.

Who manages trades on site?

Bruce Interior Renovation coordinates licensed trades under one project lead. You have a single point of contact rather than managing multiple contractors.

How do you handle asbestos or unexpected damage?

Latent conditions are documented and quoted as variations. Licensed specialists handle asbestos where identified. Work does not proceed on unknown hazards without agreed plan.

After completion

What warranty do you provide?

Workmanship warranty terms are stated in your contract. Report defects with description and photos to connect@bruceinteriorrenovation.com.au or 0424 128 886.

Do you provide maintenance after handover?

Manufacturer warranties apply to products. We address workmanship defects within warranty period. Routine maintenance remains owner responsibility with care guides supplied at handover.

Insurance and access

Should I notify my insurer before renovation?

We recommend informing your home insurer that renovation work will occur. Coverage during works varies by policy. We maintain our own insurances for our operations; your policy should be confirmed with your insurer.

Can you work while we live in the home?

Many projects proceed with owners in residence using phased zones and agreed no-go areas. Kitchen and bathroom projects require periods without those facilities — we define those windows in program so you can plan alternatives.

More detail: Read our process overview or request a quote for project-specific answers.

Do you provide design drawings?

We produce layout and scope documentation sufficient for build and quote. Full architectural services are not our core offering; we collaborate with your designer or provide practical layout input during consultation.

Can I supply my own tiles or fittings?

Owner-supplied items are possible when specifications, lead times, and warranty responsibility are agreed before contract. We install only items confirmed to suit substrate and services.
